TransAfrica works closely with civil society organizations fighting for human rights in Africa and the global African Diaspora. Economic, social and political institutions have created and re-enforced structural inequality that requires immediate action throughout the African World. Due to resource and capacity limitations, TransAfrica is unable to maintain ongoing programming in every part of the world; the organization prioritizes working with grassroots networks on-the-ground based on existing and new relationships. With a commitment to providing solidarity as immediate issues arise, TransAfrica is dedicated to remaining a dynamic and engaged institution ready to take on new country foci as appropriate.
