Lawyer and film director, Ken Sibanda reads from his science fiction novel, The Return to Gibraltar. Through the journey—time travel—of the main subject, Harvard law student Horace Bates, the book takes to reader from Bostonback to Spain in the 1400s to California and back to Africa.

South African writer Ken Sibanda is also author of If God was a Poet (a volume of poems) and The Songs of Soweto: Poems From A Post Apartheid South Africa and co-author of the non-fiction book Building Bridges: Confronting the Gap Between Black Africans and African Americans. He will also read from his upcoming novel Bird Watchers.
